We are constantly working to improve Covr and make it as simple and user-friendly as possible. At times, this means we will remove features that are no longer being utilized or that can be improved.
Here is a list of features we are removing from Covr with this release:
Temporarily Removed
Ability to Assign a Color to an Agency Profile
When this release happens, you will no longer be able to assign a color to your contingent staff (agency/float pool) workers. However, we hope to add this ability back quickly so that you can clearly see who are employees vs. contingent staff workers on your schedule.
Ability to Post Open Shifts with the Pattern Tool
For now, you will not be able to add a pattern assigned to Open in App. You will still be able to make multiple days open at the same time using the Multi Day tool.
Permanently Removed
Split Shifts
With our new single and multi day tools, you will no longer have the option to split shifts.
You can continue to "split" one larger shift by adding multiple smaller shifts to your schedule and adjusting the times for each of them.
Stars
We are eliminating the ability to add stars to a shift. We will still allow you to access the Stars Earned report for a time even after this feature is removed. You can also continue to add overtime eligibility, bonuses, and notes to a shift.
Employees Messaging Through the App
In the old Covr app, an employee could click "Send Message" and it would open up a new message to the facility number. The new employee app does not have this feature but employees can still continue to text the facility number directly.
Non-Connected Agency Workers Ability to Log In to Employee App
As part of this release, we are allowing agencies to use Covr to schedule their staff. Because of this, an agency worker whose company does not use Covr will not be able to log in to the Covr employee app. However, you will still be able to text and schedule these workers regardless of whether or not their company uses Covr.
We apologize for any inconvenience these changes may cause for you and your team. Thank you for understanding as we work to make Covr the best tool possible for you.
