Select the Schedule tab.

If needed, adjust the filters. Click Go.

In the top left corner of the schedule, you will see 3 options to use while scheduling: Single Day, Multi Day, and Pattern.

Turn the Pattern tool on.

On one of the shift rows, select the day that you'd like the employee's pattern to start.

A box will pop up that will give you the option to either add, replace, or remove a pattern.

To Add a Pattern

Select Add an Employee to this Shift Row.

The start day will default to the day originally selected on the schedule.

Select the employee you would like to assign this pattern to where it says Assign this Employee:

You have two options when adding a pattern: Choosing a Numeric Sequence or using the Visual Pattern tool.

Numeric Sequence

Use the Numeric Sequence pattern tool for patterns that repeat on a non-weekly basis (i.e. 4 days on, 2 days off = 4,2 pattern).

Choose the numeric pattern you'd like to apply from the drop-down list. If the pattern you want is not in that list, you will need to find it and add it by clicking on Add Patterns to Your List.

Visual Pattern Tool

Use the Visual Pattern Tool for schedules that repeat weekly, bi-weekly, tri-weekly, etc. up to every 6 weeks.

After selecting how often the pattern repeats itself, select which days the employees work in that time frame.

Click Submit.

Review the pattern you selected. If correct, click Process at the bottom.

To Replace a Pattern

You can use the pattern tool to replace an old employee for a new one.

Select Replace an Employee on this Shift Row.

Where it says Assign this Employee, select the employee's name you want added to the schedule.

Where it says To Replace this Employee, select the name of the employee being replaced.

Click Process to finish.

To Remove a Pattern

To remove an employee's pattern completely, select Remove an Employee from this Shift Row.

Where it says Remove this Employee, select the employee's name you want removed from the schedule.

Click Process at the bottom of the page.
