Who are we?

Covr is a cloud-based, labor management system built for skilled nursing facilities by skilled nursing owners and operators. We’ve been in the industry for decades and understand all of the nuances of maintaining a proper level of care, all while saving money and keeping within a budget.

Covr has a desktop management console that directly interacts with two companion Smart Phone apps for management and for the employees of each long-term care facility. The apps and desktop management console track, in real time, all the necessary labor calculations and management insights necessary to efficiently and effectively provide for the right amount of staffing each and every day, 365 days of the year.

How can Covr benefit you and your facility?

There are numerous scheduling programs out there that provide universal scheduling tools and generic reports that do not come close to addressing all of the issues in the skilled nursing industry. Covr does so much more—we are a full-service labor management system that provides:

  • Master Scheduling

  • Self-Scheduling Via an Employee App

  • Tracking of Employee Absences

  • Tracking of Nursing Licenses and CPR/TB Testing

  • Daily Shift Assignments Reporting

  • State and Federal PPD Reporting for Nursing, RN Coverage, Weekday v. Weekend

  • Employee and Resident Families Texting Tool

  • Employee and Resident Families Surveys

  • Agency Hours Reporting

  • Shift, Sign-on and Referral Bonus Reporting for Employees

  • Direct API to your Daily Time Clock Data, Enabling Reporting of: Overtime Usage and Projections, Tardies, Early Check-Ins, Missed Lunches, Excessive Hours, Abnormal Check-Ins and Check-Outs, Budget Adherence by Department (Over and Under), Actual PPD Reports by Department and License Type, and Examination of Overtime Causes

  • Employee Rewards (employee app rewards for dining, entertainment and services)

What will it take to be successful using Covr?

In the Long-Term Care market, facilities are required to meticulously manage their labor force to meet required and/or necessary daily care hours by type (nursing, dietary, activities, housekeeping, maintenance, social services, health information and administrative services). Failure to effectively provide for and manage these hours daily can result in poor care, regulatory citations and/or fines, potential litigation, decreased operating margins, poor employee morale and poor reviews by residents and their families.

The Solution – Covr greatly enhances any facilities’ daily ability to get the right number of employees for every shift, for every hour of the day. Facilities that keep updated records on Covr and use the resources made available to them through the program to make necessary changes to the way they manage labor can see greater success in their ability to provide quality care.
