Covr Employee app - Request Relief

How to request relief through the Covr Employee app

To request relief, employees would need to take the following steps:

Select the scheduled shift on the app

Select the "Request Relief" tile at the bottom

Type in the reason

Select the request relief tile once it shows it can be selected

The shift should show pending next to it after the relief request has been submitted.

*The employee is still responsible for this shift until another employee picks it up!

  • They will be able to see this request under the Requests tab while it is pending.

Other employees eligible for the shift will be able to see this and pick it up under the Open Shifts section. It will show with the employees initials instead of an O. At the top of the shift when they click into it, it will show Employee Name is requesting relief and can pick up the shift.

Once they confirm the pick up, it will show under the My Shifts section.

It will be removed from the employees schedule who requested relief.

It will also show under the Requests tab. Please note it will not remove from the Requests tab even after the date has passed.
